Fitba First is a children’s project St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation that runs in partnership with The Scottish Football Partnership and The UEFA Foundation for Children. It’s a five-day project that ran in April for school children in primary 5-7.
Each day was a 3-hour session consisting of football activities and Sports First-Aid training which promoted nutrition through a healthy breakfast and lunch.
This year, Fitba First ran from the 4th–8th of April between 10am – 1pm in the AirDome and 1877.
It was free to attend and taught youngsters the importance of living a healthy lifestyle while learning crucial first aid skills and enjoying fun football sessions.
