Walking Football

Walking Football is ‘the slower version of the beautiful game’ run by Walking Football Scotland in partnership with St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation.

It is a standard game of football, the only difference being that players cannot run, only walk. Walking Football is open to everyone aged 35+ and costs £4 per session. New members are always welcome!

Walking Football is suitable for everyone looking to increase fitness levels and to maintain an active lifestyle. It helps lower heart rate and blood pressure, lose weight and gain muscle, and improve mobility, and is a great way to meet new people.

It’s on every Thursday in the AirDome from 10:30am – 11:30am starting with an hour of 5-a-side football followed by teas, coffees and a chat in the 1877.
